Best Air Fryer Deals in the UK 2026: Ninja, Tefal, Salter

Air fryer prices across Argos, Currys, John Lewis, Amazon UK, and Lakeland. Plus single-zone vs dual-zone and which brand actually delivers.

5 min read

More than 60% of UK kitchens now own an air fryer. Three brands run the market, Ninja, Tefal, and Salter, each at a clearly different price point, with a long tail of generics behind them that rarely justify the saving. Prices across UK retailers span £40 to £220. Here is where to shop and what to buy.

Where to buy in the UK

  • Argos tends to have the sharpest pricing on Ninja and Tefal. Click-and-collect from a local store gets you next-day pickup and a painless return if the unit is faulty.
  • Currys matches Argos on most SKUs and goes heavy on promotions during the big retail events. The delivery and installation services earn their keep on the larger countertop models.
  • John Lewis charges a small premium and adds its standard 2-year guarantee. That £10-20 is worth paying on the pricier Ninja units, £150 and up, where longer cover actually matters.
  • Amazon UK undercuts the high street during Lightning Deals and Prime Day. Same-day Prime delivery holds up in the major cities.
  • Lakeland is the kitchen specialist with the best service of the lot. The selection runs narrow, but its warranty support is excellent when something fails.

Single-zone or dual-zone?

A single-zone unit has one large basket. It cooks one thing at a time, but at full capacity for that thing. Best for big batches of a single food: Sunday roast chips, a whole chicken, a tray of vegetables. Budget £45-100.

A dual-zone unit has two separate baskets that cook different foods at the same time and at different temperatures. Best for weeknight family meals, chicken in one basket and vegetables in the other. Budget £130-220.

Most households end up running dual-zone for around 80% of their meals. The weeknight time saving justifies the extra cost for any family of three or more. Single buyer or couple, single-zone is plenty.

Brands worth your money

Ninja owns the UK air fryer market. The Foodi DualZone range (AF300, AF400, AF451) is the benchmark for dual-zone cooking. The build, the basket coatings, and the software all sit a clear step ahead of the field. Pay the premium if you cook often.

Tefal is the value alternative. The Easy Fry range covers single-zone needs at half the Ninja price, and the Easy Fry XXL handles a whole chicken comfortably at around £85.

Salter sits below Tefal at £40-70, with units surprisingly competent for the budget end. Its dual-zone option delivers the convenience without the Ninja premium.

Brands to skip

Cosori, Princess, and the assorted Amazon-only brands under £50 are a false economy. Build quality is hit and miss, basket coatings flake within months of regular use, and customer support ranges from slow to non-existent. The £30 you save now becomes a £100 replacement next year. Buy the Salter or the Tefal instead.
